Man held over sis­ters’ deaths

Po­lice ar­rested on Fri­day a 39-year-old man who is sus­pected of killing two Chi­nese sis­ters who went miss­ing in Kana­gawa early this month and dump­ing their bod­ies. Ryuya Iwasaki re­mained silent. On July 13, the bod­ies of the two sis­ters — Chen Baolan, 25, and Chen Baozhen, 22 — were found. They were stran­gled to death. Se­cu­rity cam­era in the sis­ters’ apart­ment showed that a man look­ing like Iwasaki got in their room on July 6 and moved out two suit­cases on July 7.
