Dong Xue from He­bei prov­ince has been paint­ing snuff bot­tles for 40 years. His daugh­ter, who started learn­ing paint­ing at a young age, has now be­come an artist in her own right. They both aim to pass on the skill to the next gen­er­a­tion. Snuff bot­tle art has a his­tory of more than 200 years and is listed as a na­tional cul­tural her­itage.
