Med­i­cal team to be­gin Laos hu­man­i­tar­ian mis­sion

A 90-mem­ber med­i­cal team com­pris­ing staff from the Peo­ple’s Lib­er­a­tion Army Third Mil­i­tary Med­i­cal Univer­sity in Chongqing and the Kun­ming Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal in Yun­nan prov­ince will em­bark on a hu­man­i­tar­ian mis­sion to Laos on Tues­day. The Train of Peace 2017 project will last un­til Aug 8, ac­cord­ing to the Min­istry of De­fense. Equipped with tent hos­pi­tals and var­i­ous med­i­cal tools, the team will pro­vide a range of free ser­vices in the Lao­tian cap­i­tal Vi­en­tiane and in the north­ern prov­ince of Luang Namtha. PLA. Also on dis­play will be mod­els of the ma­jor mil­i­tary equip­ment in ac­tive ser­vice as well as China’s first atomic bomb and hy­dro­gen bomb, which were det­o­nated in 1964 and 1967, re­spec­tively.
