All set for China raft­ing Club League’s com­pe­ti­tion

The China Raft­ing Club League’s 2017 com­pe­ti­tion will be held in the Yushu Ti­betan au­tonomous pre­fec­ture of Qing­hai prov­ince from Sun­day to Thurs­day. The event marks the 30th an­niver­sary of Yel­low River raft­ing and is a joint ef­fort be­tween the Yushu govern­ment and the Chi­nese Ex­treme-Sports As­so­ci­a­tion. It will fea­ture pad­dle board and drift­ing com­pe­ti­tions, and more than 30 raft­ing clubs will take part. The 10 th Shang­hai In­ter­na­tional Fes­ti­val for Chil­dren’s Theater be­gan on Fri­day and will run through Aug 20. The fes­ti­val, which started in 2004, has at­tracted 86 plays from 24 coun­tries and re­gions. This year, seven plays from Brazil and Ja­pan, will also be part of the event. More than 50,000 peo­ple are ex­pected to at­tend the event.
