Hukou Waterfall reopens to visitors
Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River reopened to tourists on Sunday, after torrential rains in Shaanxi province caused the river to flood last week. The waterfall was closed to visitors from July 26. Hukou Waterfall, on the border of Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, is a well-known tourist attraction. It sits in a narrow, precipitous gorge and is known for its thundering rapids.
