China Daily (Hong Kong) - - PAGE TWO -

The Chinese Academy of Sciences will announce two breakthroughs in quantum communication on Wednesday. China is striving to set up the first-ever global quantum communication network by around 2030. This will be achieved by linking a satellite constellation consisting of dozens of quantum satellites and groundbased quantum communication networks. The country’s first quantum satellite, called Micius, was launched last year.
