Opium traf­fick­ers traced to res­i­dence

Po­lice in Teng­chong, Yun­nan prov­ince, said on Tues­day that they had de­tained two sus­pected opium traf­fick­ers. Of­fi­cers re­ceived a tip in July that a num­ber of peo­ple were at­tempt­ing to bring opium into Houqiao town­ship from abroad. On July 29, two sus­pects drove to a res­i­den­tial build­ing where one of them lived, and where opium was be­ing stashed, the po­lice said. More than 17 kilo­grams of opium were seized.
