A fair high­light­ing cul­tural cre­ative prod­ucts themed on the Old Sum­mer Palace is be­ing held in the palace in Bei­jing. It fea­tures more than 50 items, in­clud­ing fur­ni­ture dec­o­ra­tion, ar­ti­cles of ev­ery­day use and three-di­men­sional printed struc­tures. The Old Sum­mer Palace, also known as Yuan­mingyuan, was a large es­tate used by Manchu royalty of the Qing Dy­nasty (16441911), but was burned down by An­gloFrench ex­pe­di­tion forces in 1860.
