Film: Big Fish and Begonia wins Hungary animation prize
a Chinese animated film, won the first prize in the full-length film category at the 15th Anilogue International Animation Festival in Hungary on Sunday. The animation tells the story of a world within a world, unseen by any human. Animation talent researcher Shelley Page, a member of the festival’s international jury, stressed in the jury chairman’s assessment, that the unique and magical universe of Chinese film and its memorable and complex characters, were deeply impressive. The five-day festival featured 13 full-length movies and 200 new short animations. In addition to screenings, exhibitions, workshops and concerts were also featured in the program.
