Travel: Museum hits the road to show Liaoning’s culture
The Liaoning Provincial Museum in Shenyang has hit the road to bring an impressive array of cultural treasures to the public. A large vehicle kitted out by the museum with the latest in modern technology is touring the province with three single-screen interactive media players, which visitors can operate, to view photos and videos of cultural relics. The mobile museum displays more than 400 photographs from the Qin
Dynasty (221-206 BC) to the Qing Dynasty (16441911). The museum started the mobile project in September 2014, becoming the fourth in the country (following the
Sichuan Museum, the
Inner Mongolia Museum and the Hunan Provincial Museum).
