Cuba to boost honey and charcoal exports

Cuba is looking to increase exports of non-conventional agricultural products like honey, charcoal, coffee and pine resin to various markets around the world and contribute to the government’s strategy of diversification of foreign markets. According to top officials at the island’s Agroforestry Group, part of the Ministry of Agriculture, the group plans to generate $34 million through the export of its leading products.
