BRICS ed­u­ca­tion min­is­ters to dis­cuss co­op­er­a­tion

A fo­rum on the coun­try’s strate­gic emerg­ing in­dus­tries will be held at the China Hall of Sci­ence and Tech­nol­ogy in Bei­jing on Wed­nes­day. Of­fi­cials, schol­ars and en­trepreneurs will at­tend. The con­fer­ence has been or­ga­nized by the Na­tional De­vel­op­ment and Re­form Com­mis­sion and the State In­for­ma­tion Cen­ter. An ex­hi­bi­tion pro­mot­ing the in­te­gra­tion of the mil­i­tary and civil­ian sec­tors will be held at the China Na­tional Con­fer­ence Cen­ter in Bei­jing from Mon­day to Wed­nes­day. Civil-mil­i­tary in­te­gra­tion refers to the mil­i­tary and de­fense in­dus­tries trans­fer­ring tech­nolo­gies to civil­ian sec­tors, in­clud­ing pri­vate com­pa­nies. More than 200 en­ter­prises are ex­pected to at­tend. The fifth Meet­ing of BRICS Min­is­ters of Ed­u­ca­tion will be held in Bei­jing on Tues­day and Wed­nes­day. It will fo­cus on in­ter­na­tional co­op­er­a­tion on ed­u­ca­tion. More than 50 del­e­gates, in­clud­ing ed­u­ca­tion min­is­ters of BRICS na­tions and rep­re­sen­ta­tives of in­ter­na­tional or­ga­ni­za­tions, will par­tic­i­pate. Brazil, Rus­sia, In­dia, China and South Africa are the five mem­bers of BRICS.
