An exhibition featuring 101 works by master painter Liu Haisu is on display at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing. Born in 1896 in Jiangsu province, Liu devoted himself to creating Chinese-style oil paintings and traditional ink works. He had a strong emotional attachment to Huangshan Mountain, which he visited 10 times. In his paintings, large clouds and rocks illustrate the mountain’s splendid colorful scenery. The exhibition will run until Nov 26.
