Father, son drown while bathing dog

A father and son have drowned in Nanchong while trying to bathe their pet dog. On Friday, 37-year-old Xie Jiaqi and his son, who had just graduated primary school, brought the family dog to a river. According to an eyewitness, the son was pulled into the water by the dog while trying to bathe it and Xie immediately jumped in after him. Both were washed away, and their bodies were not recovered until Sunday.
