Forbes list of 100 Rich­est in Tech

Against the back­drop of a weak global eco­nomic re­cov­ery, the world’s tech in­dus­try seems un­af­fected, es­pe­cially in the United States and Asia. Forbes’ newly re­leased 2016 list of 100 Rich­est in Tech shows that 75 per­cent of the ti­tans on the list are from the US and China, with 51 and 24 tech founders and in­vestors, re­spec­tively. The com­bined worth of the list is es­ti­mated at $892 bil­lion, amount­ing to 6 per­cent growth on a yearon-year ba­sis. and landown­ers protest­ing out­side a con­di­tion­ing plant sup­ply­ing its multi­bil­lion­dol­lar LNG pro­ject. Landown­ers in Pa­pua New Guinea’s Hela prov­ince are in a po­si­tion to take con­trol of the key as­set par­tially sup­ply­ing the $19 bil­lion PNG LNG pro­ject. They are de­mand­ing gov­ern­ment au­thor­i­ties pay more than 2 bil­lion Kina ($631,000) in roy­al­ties owed them cur­rently held in trust.
