Sum­mit to boost eco­nomic ties

China is will­ing to push for­ward the de­vel­op­ment of the China-Pak­istan Eco­nomic Cor­ri­dor, a Chi­nese For­eign Min­istry spokesper­son said on Wed­nes­day. A two-day sum­mit and expo re­gard­ing CPEC started in the Pak­istani cap­i­tal of Is­lam­abad on Mon­day, aim­ing to pro­vide a plat­form for ex­chang­ing ideas, open­ing new av­enues for busi­ness, and ex­plor­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties. CPEC rep­re­sents a con­sen­sus reached by the two gov­ern­ments and is im­por­tant for con­nec­tiv­ity and co­op­er­a­tion in trade and econ­omy, spoke sp er­son Hua C hun ying told a news con­fer­ence.
