Fruit ex­porters boost NZ trade

NewZealand’s whole­sale trade sales re­bounded in the quar­ter end­ing June, driven up by fruit ex­porters, the gov­ern­ment sta­tis­tics agency said on Tues­day. “Ki­wifruit ex­port val­ues were at an all-time high in the months ofMay and June,” Sta­tis­tics NewZealand busi­ness in­di­ca­tors se­nior man­agerNeilKelly said. “It was also a good quar­ter for apple ex­porters.” To­tal whole­sale trade sales rose 1.7 per­cent, or NZ$397 mil­lion ($290.44 mil­lion).
