Tourism ticket prices to be reg­u­lated

As theMid-Au­tumn Fes­ti­val and the Na­tional Day hol­i­days ap­proach, the Na­tional De­vel­op­ment and Re­form Com­mis­sion, the coun­try’s top eco­nomic plan­ner, is­sued a no­tice to all sub­or­di­nate depart­ments to strictly reg­u­late the tourism mar­ket. Dur­ing the hol­i­days, a peak sea­son for tourism, tourist spots and trans­porta­tion agen­cies will be reg­u­lated and pun­ished if they cheat on ticket prices. One as­pect in par­tic­u­lar will be tar­geted. Some tourist spots dou­ble charge, by sell­ing one ticket at the gen­eral en­trance while keep­ing the ma­jor­ity of zones in­side their parks as charged zones where tourists must buy ad­di­tional tick­ets.
