Tourism ticket prices to be regulated
As theMid-Autumn Festival and the National Day holidays approach, the National Development and Reform Commission, the country’s top economic planner, issued a notice to all subordinate departments to strictly regulate the tourism market. During the holidays, a peak season for tourism, tourist spots and transportation agencies will be regulated and punished if they cheat on ticket prices. One aspect in particular will be targeted. Some tourist spots double charge, by selling one ticket at the general entrance while keeping the majority of zones inside their parks as charged zones where tourists must buy additional tickets.
