Couriers use cars to rob passengers
Three car couriers have been arrested by Chongqing police for suspected robbery. The couriers, who were in charge of delivering newcars for a logistics company, allegedly used them as taxis before handing them to car dealers. They began selecting vulnerable-looking passengers at night to rob. They used code words to determine victims and threatened them once other passengers left the vehicles. The suspects, surnamed Tan, Li and Liu, have been caught, according to police reports.
