Man saves woman from drown­ing

A woman in Gaoyou was res­cued by a good Sa­mar­i­tan when she was blown into a river by a gust of wind. He Qiao­hong, 49, was rid­ing her bi­cy­cle to work when a sud­den gust of wind flung her and her bike off a small bridge into the river. Un­able to swim, she be­gan drown­ing be­fore Zhang Shi­hua, who was on the way home, jumped into the river to save her. Af­ter drag­ging her ashore and mak­ing sure that she was con­scious, Zhang went on his way. Zhang was even­tu­ally found and thanked by He and her fam­ily.
