Woman sends nude selfie in scam

A woman in Changzhou was black­mailed af­ter send­ing nude self­ies as a guar­an­tee for bor­row­ing money. The vic­tim, sur­named Hu, called a num­ber on an ad­ver­tise­ment she read on­line which of­fered “col­lat­eral-free” loans. She sent an “IOU” note and a nude pic­ture of her­self on re­quest, and ex­pected to re­ceive money the fol­low­ing day. How­ever the “lender” threat­ened to show the pic­ture to her rel­a­tives and de­manded Hu make a pay­ment. She went to the po­lice for help, and the case is now un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion.
