Plan is­sued on fight against in­ter­net finance crimes

The State Coun­cil has re­cently is­sued an im­ple­men­ta­tion plan to fight in­ter­net finance crimes, which re­quires rec­ti­fy­ing and en­hanc­ing man­age­ment in key fields of in­ter­net finance. Th­ese in­clude P2P in­ter­net loans, stock crowd fund­ing, in­ter­net in­surance, third-party pay­ment and in­ter­net finance ad­ver­tise­ments. Work on this started in April and is ex­pected to be com­pleted by the end ofMarch, 2017. Tech­nol­ogy, have jointly is­sued an an­nounce­ment to com­bat in­ter­net fraud. Those who com­mit­ted crimes in this sec­tor have un­til Oct 31 to turn them­selves in vol­un­tar­ily and con­fess to es­cape more se­vere pun­ish­ment. Those who did not turn them­selves in be­fore the dead­line and are found guilty will be se­verely dealt with in ac­cor­dance with rel­e­vant laws and reg­u­la­tions, the an­nounce­ment said.
