De­ci­sions to aid con­sump­tion, in­no­va­tion and en­trepreneur­ship

An ex­ec­u­tive meet­ing of the State Coun­cil Oct 14 de­cided to fur­ther ex­pand do­mes­tic con­sump­tion, pro­mote ser­vice-sec­tor de­vel­op­ment, eco­nomic tran­si­tion and up­grad­ing, and deepen re­form of busi­ness reg­u­la­tory sys­tems to re­duce the costs of cor­po­rate in­no­va­tion and en­trepreneur­ship. The meet­ing de­cided to elim­i­nate sys­tem­atic ob­sta­cles that may hin­der spend­ing on ed­u­ca­tion and sport; boost tourism and cul­tural con­sump­tion; en­hance the de­vel­op­ment of the leisure in­dus­try; pro­mote the re­form of sales of tra­di­tional prod­ucts, such as cars and build­ing ma­te­ri­als; and im­prove the con­sump­tion en­vi­ron­ment.
