Pupil beaten over homework

The parents of a 10-year-old boarding school pupil who was allegedly beaten by his teacher in Tongchuan city have reported the case to the police. The boy said he was beaten with a stick on the backside on Oct 11 for not completing his homework. His injuries were only discovered when he returned home from school on Oct 17.
