BMW or­dered to re­call cars

Ger­man lux­ury car­maker BMW was or­dered by South Korea’s trans­port min­istry to re­call more than 21,000 ve­hi­cles of 26 mod­els for var­i­ous de­fects, the min­istry said on Fri­day. BMW Korea, a lo­cal im­porter and dis­trib­u­tor of the Ger­man cars, will re­call 20,957 ve­hi­cles of 17 mod­els, in­clud­ing 520d pro­duced be­tween Dec 11, 2006 and June 30, 2011 for de­fec­tive con­nec­tors for fuel pump, ac­cord­ing to the Min­istry of Land, In­fra­struc­ture and Trans­port.
