Hospital pulled wrong tooth

China Daily (USA) - - CHINA -

A man in Chengdu who went to have a tooth extracted is taking the hospital to court, because the wrong tooth was pulled. The 26-year-old, surnamed Jiang, had been suffering from toothache for about a year before he went to hospital on Oct 27. His treatment cost 500 yuan ($74), but Jiang refused to pay as the wrong tooth had been taken out. The hospital said Jiang was partly to blame because he agreed to the operation. The two sides are now waiting for the case to go to trial.
