Strict man­age­ment for waste plants

Ac­cord­ing to a guide­line co-is­sued by the Min­istry of Hous­ing and Ur­ban-Ru­ral Devel­op­ment, the Na­tional Devel­op­ment and Re­form Com­mis­sion, the Min­istry of Land and Re­sources, and the Min­istry of En­vi­ron­men­tal Pro­tec­tion, the lo­ca­tions of in­cin­er­a­tion plants for pro­cess­ing house­hold waste will be put un­der stricter scru­tiny. The use of land must come with clear signs; emer­gency plans and sci­en­tific man­age­ment are needed to con­tain se­cond­hand pol­lu­tion. The in­cin­er­a­tion plants are obliged to make pub­lic their ba­sic op­er­a­tions and emis­sions data on a reg­u­lar ba­sis for pub­lic su­per­vi­sion.
