Minor accidents to be handled online

China Daily (USA) - - POLICY REVIEW -

The Ministry of Public Security recently issued a guideline on improving internetbased services, according to which minor traffic accidents will be dealt with through simpler procedures online. Those under this category and facing fines will be allowed to pay the fines in any bank branch in or outside his/her province, or via online payment platforms and self-service terminals. The moves are part of a greater plan of building an “internet plus” police and service platform, which is expected to cover the nation by 2020.
