Neymar’s nemesis calls it quits

Juan Camilo Zuniga, the player who ended Neymar’s World Cup participation four years ago, announced his retirement on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old Colombian wingback (pictured) was involved in a collision with Neymar in a quarterfinal match at the 2014 World Cup that resulted in the Brazil forward sustaining a broken vertebrae. Neymar’s World Cup was over and without him host Brazil suffered the humiliation of losing 7-1 to eventual champion Germany in the semifinals.
