This ex­hi­bi­tion fea­tures 245 Asian and Euro­pean clas­si­cal prints dat­ing from the 16th to the 21st 1st cen­tury, in­clud­ing about 30 Chi­nese wood­block ock paint­ings from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing ing (16441911) dy­nas­ties, 140 Ja­pa­nese Ukiyo-e prints and 70 Euro­pean cop­per plate etch­ings and wood­block dblock paint­ings.

The ex­hi­bi­tion presents rep­re­sen­ta­tive and d rel­e­vant prints from China, Ja­pan and Europe across five cen­turies. By ob­serv­ing and com­par­ing those mas­ter­pieces, er­pieces, artis­tic fea­tures and cul­tural con­no­ta­tions of the ages are pre­served, documenting the aes­thet­ics and cul­tural ltural value of the art. The ex­hi­bi­tion nar­rates the his­tor­i­cal cal con­text of de­vel­op­ment of the prints with an eye on fos­ter­ing greater art ex­change between the East and the e West.
