A Music Hall in a Cave

China Scenic - - Feature Explore -

Covering approximately 2,000 square meters, the 30-metere high cave called Guanxi is now used as a music hall that can hold 700 people. ➲

The ancient stonecutters first opened an entrance at the mountain surface, and then bored into the body to obtain fine materials. As their work went on, the quarry gradually turned into a cave. According to historical records, most stones were dragged out the cave using a suspension mechanism.
