China-nepal Investment Forum was successfully held in Beijing on March 22. Nepali Prime Minister K.P. Oli and Vice Chairman of the CCPIT Yin Zonghua delivered speeches at the forum. Around 200 participants, inculding Chinese and Nepali government officials and entrepreneur representatives attended the forum.

Yin said in his remarks that Nepal is an important country along the route of the “Belt and Road”. In recent years, trade relations between China and Nepal has developed very fast and the practical cooperation between companies has been bolstered continuously. Currently, China is adjusting to as well as leading the new normal of economic development, solidly promoting the construction of the Belt and Road and advancing practical cooperation that is both win-win and mutual-beneficial.

Prime Minister K. P. Oli said, China and Nepal are friendly neighbors linked by mountains and rivers and the fortunes of the two countries are entwined. Nepal hoped that through the forum the Chinese entrepreneurs who were present at the forum could deepen their understanding of the Nepali economic, trade and investment environment and the market and get practical results from matchmaking talks.
