On March 31, the Meet­ing with Euro­pean Busi­nesses in China, hosted by the CCPIT and the Euro­pean Union Cham­ber of Com­merce in China ( EUCCC) was held in Bei­jing. Del­e­gates from China’s Na­tional De­vel­op­ment and Re­form Com­mis­sion ( NDRC), the Min­istry of Com­merce ( MOC), the Min­istry of In­dus­try and In­for­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy (MIIT), the State Ad­min­is­tra­tion of Tax­a­tion (SAT), the State Ad­min­is­tra­tion of For­eign Ex­change (SAFE), the State Ad­min­is­tra­tion for In­dus­try & Com­merce (SAIC), as well as those from EUCCC and 10 Euro­pean en­ter­prises in China, such as

Some Chi­nese com­pa­nies spend reck­lessly - pur­chas­ing foot­ball clubs or lux­ury hotels. This will serve to only drive up ac­qui­si­tion costs for other firms.

As Chi­nese firms go out to build in­dus­trial parks and re­lated fa­cil­i­ties amid their lo­cal­iza­tion drive, they will also help boost the ur­ban­iza­tion of coun­tries along the routes.
