Zhejiang Energy Group to Exhibit Chinese Clean Energy Solution with “Ultra-low Emission Technology” at the 2017 Astana Expo
This year’s World Expo will be held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, from June to September, with the aim of presenting solutions to tough, global energy issues. The Zhejiang Energy Group has successfully explored a new development approach with clean coal and as one of the official partners of China’s Pavilion at the Expo, the Group will exhibit China’s solution for future energy. It is learned that the Zhejiang Energy Group will focus on exhibiting coal “ultra-low emission green technology” during the Expo. The Group will build a model booth in the China Pavilion to show the mysterious process of ultra-low emission technology by the combined “virtual + reality” approach, which will enable audience to clearly know how the ultra-low emission technology help the chimney to realize smoke-free emission.
During the year 2004 to 2006, the previous Zhejiang provincial party secretary Xi Jinping paid close attention to the development of Zhejiang Energy Group and encouraged the Group to pursue a clean and sustainable development approach after paying six field investigation & research visit to the Group. With Chinese President Xi’s request and the development philosophy of environment protection, the Group takes the responsibility to greatly engage in energy conservation and emission reduction by seeking a balance between energy security and environment protection via technological innovation.
President of Zhejiang Energy Group Dong Yahui said that the Group hopes to, through virtue of the expo platform, implement the “Belt and Road” initiative through deepening cooperation with Kazakhstan and other countries along the “Belt and Road”. “On the one hand, the Group will exhibit achievements of clean energy utilization, and on the other hand it will set an example for other countries in terms of secure energy supply and sustainable energy development,” said Dong.
It is learned that the Zhejiang Energy Group will take the Expo as an opportunity to explore investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries and to seek business partners.
