Zhejiang Strives to be the National Clean Energy Demonstration Province
In2014,ZhejiangC PC Provincial Committee and government raised the strategy to build Zhejiang into national clean energy demonstration province within 10 years.
The recent two years have seen great progress in the implementation of the above strategy. The energy consumption volume has been under control, the proportion of non-oil and chemical energy and the clean energy utilization of oil and chemical energy keeps improving, the proportion of coal consumption, energy consumption per GDP unit and the emission of CO2, SO2, nitrogen oxide, smoke and dust keep declining.
Key clean energy project under promotion. Zhejiang Province has invested almost RMB 100 billion in key clean energy projects. Fangjiashan Nuclear Power No.2 Unit and Xianju pumped storage power station have finished construction and started operation. The new added electricity line of 110 KV or above stretched 4,267 km, the substation capacity reached 38.08 million KAV and the electricity network upgrading network is launching into construction.
Replacement and upgrading of chemical energy cleaning under full promotion. The first is the clean modification of coal power units.
