Finite element software ANSYS is used to model a vertical and horizontal stiffened conical shell. The vibration modal frequency and structural response under the vertical downward unit concentrated force at the end of the stiffened conical shell are analyzed. Based on Matlab, the vibration characteristics of the stiffened conical shell are optimized by a genetic algorithm and the tolerance sorting method. The results show that with the increase of tolerance and target weight, the acceleration level of the optimal structural scheme decreases. With single objective optimization for the same target value, there can be multiple schemes.[Conclusions]The research results of this paper can provide useful references for the acoustic design of reinforced conical shell structures. and transverse stiffened conical shells;modal frequency;acceleration response; multi-objective optimization;tolerance sorting method;genetic algorithm
