The Ascott

Living abroad has never been so stylish

City Weekend - - What's In It -

It’s like staying in a hotel, but with that extra homey feeling. The Ascott Limited is a member of Capita Land. It is one of the leading international serviced residence owner-operators with more than 500 properties in over 120 cities spanning more than 30 countries across the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. Here, Ascott Beijing, Ascott Raffles City Beijing, and Ascott Riverside Garden Beijing have been providing travelers and expats with a home away from home they can call their own. With all the comforts of a luxury hotel, including breakfast service, housekeeping, security, and concierge, the Ascott also has the added benefit of a fully-functioning kitchen for those days when even the tastiest restaurants just can’t compare to your family recipes.

“As an international company, our service and property management are consistent at home and abroad, but we add local elements in different cities. For example, in China, we have special food and traditional Chinese celebrations during Chinese festivals. We offer business travelers and expatriates a home away from home, where you can relax and recharge. We aim to provide all our residents and guests with personal space, privacy, and comfort. In our serviced residences, we want the residents to feel that they are part of a friendly community and support network where everyone knows and treats them like old friends, or even family. It is their home where they can totally relax and be themselves. Meanwhile, we have an ‘Ascott Host’ at all our properties. The main role of the Ascott Host is to do their utmost to help new-arrivals settle in their new city of residence. The hosts will contact long-term guests to know about their lifestyle, habits, and requests, so they can arrange proper room service. The hosts will use their local knowledge to help guests solve any problems and integrate into the new environment as soon as possible. For example, we had an American guest who was looking for an international primary school for his son. The Ascott Host gave him recommendations with a lot analysis of the local schools. The Hosts offer brochures in Chinese and foreign languages about the nearby communities, such as markets and shops, and sometimes will also show them around.” Alex Wang, Vice President, Products & Technical Services, China, Ascott & Area General Manager, North China, Ascott.

All of the Ascott properties are located in the center of the city, offering residents a convenient locations to the subways and most shopping centers along with features that’ll make your life in Beijing so much more soothing like an indoor swimming pool and fitness center are provided to help you stay in shape and unwind after work and a play area just for kids.

While each property is different with its own unique facilities and design, one thing they all have in common is service. They manage the small details of your day-to-day life so you don’t have to, because life is about living.
