Awarded Three Chalices by Gambero Rosso, this rare carmignano – an original

Super Tuscan produced with

Italy’s first cabernet vines in the northernmost part of Tuscany, near Florence – was first planted in the 16th century by the Medici family. Composed of 80 per cent sangiovese and 20 per cent cabernet sauvignon, this powerful, elegant wine has aromas of plum, bell pepper, tobacco and mint, with lingering notes of chocolate, black fruits and graphite. Fullbodied with meaty tannins, this carmignano pairs excellently with Florentine steak or red lamb curry. from Ada Leung Brand representative, Cottage Vineyards International A foodie and wine addict whose motto is “we love wine because we love food first”
