The first Indonesian property by Swiss hospitality brand Mövenpick made its debut in January just 100 meters from southern Bali’s Jimbaran Beach. Inspired by the traditional five elements of Balinese design, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali features 297 rooms and suites, each with a private balcony and plenty of local flair. The highlight of the resort is its free-form swimming pool with an artificial beach area and lap pool, offering a total of 2,500 square meters of family fun. Elsewhere on the property, rooftop bar Above Eleven Bali serves up mouthwatering Nikkei cuisine against a backdrop of stunning ocean views, while guests can look forward to an array of traditional Indonesian treatments at the spa, not to mention a 24-hour gym for keeping in shape. Next door, the recently opened Samasta Village complex provides visitors with a wide selection of cafés, restaurants, boutiques, and live entertainment.
