Land Rover hits three at bus sta­tion

On March 14 a white Land Rover crashed into a bus sta­tion in the Fangzhuang area of Feng­tai district, hit­ting three el­derly peo­ple. One of them died, and two were in­jured, the Bei­jing Morn­ing Post re­ported.

Ac­cord­ing to a passerby who wit­nessed the ac­ci­dent, the ve­hi­cle drove into the bus sta­tion from the road and kept go­ing af­ter hit­ting the ad­ver­tise­ment board and fence. Thick smoke then came out of the ve­hi­cle.

The driver was a man in his 30s, and wit­nesses said he smelled of al­co­hol. The po­lice have taken him into cus­tody.

The two wounded peo­ple did not sus­tain any life-threat­en­ing in­juries and were taken to the hos­pi­tal.
