Land Rover hits three at bus station
On March 14 a white Land Rover crashed into a bus station in the Fangzhuang area of Fengtai district, hitting three elderly people. One of them died, and two were injured, the Beijing Morning Post reported.
According to a passerby who witnessed the accident, the vehicle drove into the bus station from the road and kept going after hitting the advertisement board and fence. Thick smoke then came out of the vehicle.
The driver was a man in his 30s, and witnesses said he smelled of alcohol. The police have taken him into custody.
The two wounded people did not sustain any life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
