In May, the Beijing Metro introduced a new function into its app that allows passengers to check the degree of congestion in the subway.
9,000,000 – the number of added heating areas in squre meters generated by clean energy in Beijing. Recently, six large-scale coal burning boilers were converted into clean energy generators in suburban areas like Yanqing, Pinggu and Miyun districts, which can greatly reduce the emissions.
