Park Skate­board­ing World Cham­pi­onships 2018 ends

On Satur­day, the six-day Park Skate­board­ing World Cham­pi­onships 2018 was held in Nan­jing. There were 160 peo­ple in to­tal from 27 coun­tries that par­tic­i­pated in the com­pe­ti­tion. Sakura Yosozumi from Ja­pan won the ti­tle of the 2018 World Skate Women’s Park Skate­board­ing World Cham­pi­onship. Pe­dro Bar­ros from Brazil won the cham­pi­onship of the men’s group. It is the high­est-rank­ing in­ter­na­tional skate­board­ing com­pe­ti­tion that is of­fi­cially ver­i­fied by the In­ter­na­tional Roller-skat­ing Fed­er­a­tion for the first time. The suc­cess of this com­pe­ti­tion will pro­vide an all-round ref­er­ence for the skate­board­ing com­pe­ti­tion in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games.

This com­pe­ti­tion is an im­por­tant mea­sure taken by Nan­jing, Jiangsu Prov­ince to cre­ate the “world roller skat­ing cap­i­tal.” Migu Video, China Mo­bile’s video plat­form and Nan­jing TV sta­tion pro­vided live stream­ing to au­di­ences dur­ing this cham­pi­onship.
