Scalper ar­rested for cheating Korean star fans

Songjiang Dis­trict Peo­ple’s Procu­ra­torate ap­proved to ar­rest a man for cheating fans of a South Korean star of 20,000 yuan ($2,899).

A vic­tim, nick­named Xiaolan, who is a fan of Song Joong-ki, found a post on Weibo by a scalper sur­named Liu, who said he could get tick­ets to Song’s fan club meet­ing in Shang­hai.

Xiaolan con­tacted Liu and was told each ticket costs 1,082 yuan. Xiaolan and friends paid Liu 20,000 yuan for 11 tick­ets.

How­ever she later sus­pected that Liu had cheated them. Af­ter Liu re­fused to re­fund their money and didn’t re­ply to their calls, Xiaolan re­ported him to po­lice.
