Singapore urban, iindustrial and infrastructure conssulting firm Surbana Jurong said Wednesday it had formed a joint venture ( JV) with China Highway Engineering Consulting Corp to provide design and consult tancy services for highway and muniicipal projects

The venture, China Highway- Surbana Jurong Transportattion Design and Research Co, is 51 percent owned by China Highway and 49 percent owned by Surbana Jurong according to a press

release sent to the Global Times.

The JV aims to capture a bigger slice of the infrastructure pie, as global infrastructure spending is expected to grow to $ 9 trillion per year by 2025, and close to $ 78 trillion in total is expected to be spent from 2014- 25, it said.
