# Doctor puts fetus back into womb# views: 12.79m

Doctors in Central China’s Hubei Province were able to prevent a premature birth by putting a fetus back into its mother’s womb.

Liu Min had risked miscarrying her 23- week- old infant son when his foot became visible after she went into labor in February.

Doctors at Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University carefully placed the foot into Liu’s womb to allow the fetus to continue developing.

Though still premature, Liu gave birth to her baby boy last Friday and both are doing fine, doctors said.
