Hong Kong Whisky Fes­ti­val

Cold and rainy Fe­bru­ary’s the month for whisky it seems, as the first ever Hong Kong Whisky Fes­ti­val (and the sec­ond one in town) takes place at the In­ter­Con­ti­nen­tal Grand Stan­ford. Dram dab­blers can learn how to prop­erly ap­pre­ci­ate a sin­gle malt through one of the mas­ter­classes on food and whisky pair­ing, at­tend a VIP pour­ing ses­sion, or sam­ple the many va­ri­eties on of­fer in the main hall. A Peat Pav­il­lion will also be on site, com­plete with an ice bar serv­ing oys­ters, sea urchin and peaty malts. Main hall opens noon-7pm; Peat Pav­il­lion 5-11pm. Feb 20, 12pm.
