Soul Sis­ters at Grappa’s Cel­lar

Kick­ing off its spring con­cert sea­son, the Hong Kong Women’s Choir will be singing for a good cause, bring­ing on a soul­ful a cap­pella and ac­com­pa­nied per­for­mance at Grappa’s Cel­lar for a three-course dinner show. Funds raised will go to­wards fam­ily lit­er­acy ad­vo­cates Bring Me a Book Hong Kong, and also to buy in­stru­ments to fa­cil­i­tate heal­ing for women and girls sup­ported by the women’s wel­fare group The Sis­ters of the Good Shep­herd. The foot-stomp­ing hus­band-and-wife indie folk duo were main­stays of the Hong Kong gig scene, but they re­turned to their Kiwi home a year ago. They’re com­ing back for a one-off gig to­gether with lo­cal rock­ers Tango and Snatch, play­ing all-new ma­te­rial.
