In­spired by the heal­ing philoso­phies of East­ern and Western medicine, as well as her own jour­ney through re­cov­ery, Zhang Yanzi cre­ates art in­cor­po­rat­ing medic­i­nal ma­te­ri­als. Her works cel­e­brate health and sci­ence and the per­sonal ef­fects of re­cov­ery: There’s the im­age of the an­gel wings com­posed of gauze ban­dages and herbal medicine, and what looks to be a mi­cro­scope view of an­ti­bod­ies, but made out of pills, ink and pa­per. This ex­hibit is a col­lab­o­ra­tion between Ga­lerie Ora-Ora and the Hong Kong Mu­seum of Med­i­cal Sciences. Through Aug 28.
