Opera Hong Kong’s stun­ning en­sem­ble. In Puc­cini’s tragic tale, a Ja­panese wo­man, Cio-Cio-San, falls in love with the Amer­i­can Lieu­tenant Pinker­ton, gets preg­nant, and is aban­doned un­til he comes back to take her child away. This or­ches­tral per­for­mance marks the Hong

Kong pre­mière of his “Silk Road” pi­ano con­certo, in­spired by the dra­matic jour­ney from Ti­bet to Turkey; he will also be per­form­ing Mozart’s Con­certo No. 21.
