Fin­ish­ing off Pi­cada’s Tues­day screen­ings for Colom­bian In­de­pen­dence Month is “(2014), a nar­ra­tive film with a doc­u­men­tary feel by Os­car Ruiz Navia cen­tered around a group of graf­fiti artists in the Colom­bian city of Cali. Two teenagers in a cor­rupt so­ci­ety, in­spired by the Arab Spring up­ris­ing, join a larger group of street artists and spread their phi­los­o­phy of col­lab­o­ra­tive graf­fiti ac­tivism.
